4th Consortium Meeting

✈️ On April 9th-10th, 2025, the EFACA project reached a significant milestone with its 4th consortium meeting held at the Politecnico di Milano – Department of Energy in Milan, Italy.

The meeting brought together partners and stakeholders to discuss the latest advancements in sustainable aviation technologies. The partners reviewed experimental progress across several critical work packages, including hydrogen fuel cell systems, hybrid gearboxes, and emissions reduction strategies.

Noteworthy discussions included updates on aircraft designs focused on sustainability, as well as innovations in sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs) and noise reduction technologies. Attendees were also given a firsthand look at ongoing research through a laboratory visit. The second day of the meeting featured a session with the Advisory Board, reaffirming the project’s strategic direction and commitment to long-term sustainability goals.

The project is progressing well towards its objectives, with Professor Luiz Campos, the project coordinator, emphasizing that the project is on track to achieve its goals by 2026.
