WCCM-ECCOMAS 2026
The EFACA consortium took part in WCCM-ECCOMAS 2026, held in Munich from July 19th to 24th, 2026.
During the conference, EFACA contributed to the special session STS421 – “Technological and Operational Roadmap for Greening of Aviation”, with several papers reflecting the project’s work towards more sustainable and climate-neutral aviation.
The contributions covered a wide range of research areas, including hybrid-electric propulsion systems, fuel cells, hydrogen technologies, batteries, sustainable aviation fuels, aircraft fleet evolution, noise and emissions, and the development of roadmaps for greener aviation.
The conference offered an important opportunity to present EFACA’s progress, exchange ideas with researchers and industry experts, and strengthen the discussion on future technologies and strategies for the decarbonisation of aviation.
